Why do we eat more chicken than duck?

    Ducks are more active creatures than chickens, therefore they have less meat and fat than chickens would.  They also have more oxygen, which gives their meat a darker, redder look and richer taste.  That might be why it is considered less “traditional”, just for the fact that it “does not taste like chicken” as most other meats are compared to taste like.
