Stoicheometry my dear Watson. First, you need to figure out what compound you are making as a product. Write the chemical equation out and balance it. Then, you can turn moles of zinc (I’ll help you out here and tell you that zinc has a molecular weight of 65.38 grams per mole). Now convert the number of moles you use of zinc as a reactant, into the number of moles of product formed. Now, you have to see what ratio this yield is based on the zinc used as a starting material.
