You say in full sunlight we can expect to receive 100W per sq ft of solar energy. In practice, due to cloud, and night times, what is the average solar energy we might expect, and how does this vary with latitude and throughout the year? I’m looking at storing heat in water using a solar dish(es), for heating a church for an hour on Sunday. Would you know if this has this been tried before?
