As far as I know, it is impossible to have a zero waste home unless I’m using non-recyclable items to make furniture or art or something of the like. Or completely avoiding buying many items. And even the stuff that’s supposed to get recycled is not fully processed anyway. On the other hand, zero energy home is realistically achievable through things like solar panels, energy-efficient appliances and electronics, and energy-saving practices.
