It’s pretty safe to say that the world would be a better chance if everyone ate organic vegetables and fruits. Organically grown foods are better for the environment, because they use no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, require fewer inputs of fossil fuel-based energy, and avoid genetically engineered crops. However, organic foods also hold the potential to feed the world and address global issues of starvation, through the creation of small scale, community-level food projects lessen a community’s dependence on global market fluctuations. Organic food is better for both the planet, and the people who inhabit it.
