Yes, having a vegetarian diet is one of the best things you can do for the environment. By not eating meat, you save the energy, food, and land that is invested in growing and feeding animals that are killed for eat. Meat requires a great deal of energy to produce for very little in return. Thus, eating tofu and other veggies in lieu of meat is great for the environment.
Tofu is great for the environment. It’s also wonderful for your health as well. However, I wouldn’t necessary have an all-tofu diet. Too much of anything isn’t a good thing.
