Would it be easier to tell what websites were green if they were to have a .eco domain name?

Personally, I would really like a .eco ending, but I only really see use in it if the websites had to be run with energy efficient technology and on clean energy to get it.  For example, Facebook came under fire from Greenpeace for using coal to power its massive operation.  If .eco were an elite thing, I would love to see who qualified and who did not.
