Would ignoring climate change be even more expensive than trying to fix it?

Reactionary care is always more expensive than preventative care. Walking for an hour everyday and eating right is less expensive than a hospital bill due to a heart attack. In the case of climate change, however, the whole movement is a little reactionary because no one was paying attention until ice caps started melting and water levels started rising. (Or until Al Gore made a movie about it) But, reversing climate change could be inexpensive if everyone got on board today. If every single person put in an effort, almost no money would need to be thrown at the problem. But, that’s going to happen, so the governments of the world will have to do the best they can.
