Would Antarctica be a good place to have wind farms?

Theoretically, yes. Antarctica has a high sustained wind speed, as it is one of the poles of the earth. The problem would be transporting the energy produced to populated areas for use. Antarctic wind farms would be beneficial for powering the science stations on the continent, but otherwise would have a limited use.
