The stimulus package has funded enormous amounts of research and development for green energies. $70 billion has gone into green energy, and much of that has been put to good use already in expanding our output of green energy. So no, we would not have as much green energy without the stimulus. It is a promising sign that our politicians are taking steps to combat climate change already. I am hopeful for even more political action for green energy at the Copenhagen conference in December.
