Some ideas: unplug appliances (microwave, coffee maker, toaster) when not in use; use energy efficient light bulbs; lower your heat when you’re not at home.
To add, take shorter showers, especially when the hot water is on, make sure you have drapes or shades on the windows that get direct sunlight, keep you air conditioning on no lower that 78 or 77 degrees during the summer and for your heat no higher than 68 during the winter. Wash you clothes in cold water and dry them outside on a clothes hanger instead of int the dryer. Try not to use the lights during the day (use natural lighting), and turn off lights once you leave the room
