According to a recent study in the journal Science, it’s quite possible that a majority of commercially exploited fish species will have depleted by about 90 percent by 2050.  The article blaims overfishing, pollution, and global warming on the continued decline in the numbers of a number of fish consumed for seafood, including clams, crabs, swordfish, and salmon.
