Sheep tend to overgraze if you allow them to do so; they will clear the grass to the ground. The sheep’s grazing time can be managed, and if they graze in different areas the grass would have time to grow back before they grazed there again. This doesn’t seem like a viable method for keeping landscaped grass trim, or keeping sheep fed. They tend to eat a wider variety of food than just grass, and they graze for an average of seven hours a day.
