Will the production of crops for alcohol (like hops and grapes) become illegal when there are too many people on the planet to feed sustainably?

Not likely. The human thirst for alcohol has never really been quelled. People will always find a way. Look to what happened durng prohibition if you don’t believe me. The disolution of those industries would also be disasterous for the economies of many places, such as France, which has been producing wine for centuries. California would also be plagued with an economic downfall. Couple that with the fall of the micro-brew and the world economy would suffer.
