Will permeable asphalts help stormwater runoff in cities?

    In their online magazine, the Asphalt Institute claim pourous asphalt can significantly reduce storm water run off.

    This summer the EPA began a decade long comparison between three different types of paving with the goal of identifying the abilities of each to prevent or reduce the harm of stormwater run off. The study will compare interlocking concrete paver blocks, porous concrete, and porous asphalt.
