Will my drywall eventually dry out and be OK after it gets wet?

In essence, a wet drywall should be replaced.  This is especially true for insulated wall.  Even if it does dry, a damaged look can occur on the surface.  Behind the surface, the moisture becomes a breeding ground for mold.  Replacing drywall is fairly inexpensive compared with the work that would need to be done if mold did develop.
