Although microwaves won’t “scramble” your brain cells, there are health risks associated with microwave ovens. Microwaves basically work by deforming molecules in food. If these molecules are digested and absorbed they may create deformity or malfunction in the cells that interact with them. These cells attach to other cells and create toxic compounds. These compounds are the beginning of disease and leave people at a greater risk for cancer. People who frequently eat microwaved foods also have a history of poor digestion, an altered immune system, and impaired hormone production.
