Will an Italian or Leyland cypress survive NH winters?

    An Italian Cypress will not likely survive a New Hampshire winter. They are native to the Mediterranean, and thus it is too cold. The Leyland Cypress has a better chance, but it does not thrive in the winter temperatures. The cold causes stress, which makes it more susceptible to disease.
