Will the EPA greenhouse gas regulations force the beef industry to change the way they operate?

It is difficult to say at this time, but it is highly doubtful. It will probably take a serious disaster directly linked to climate change in order to change our agricultural systems. The only people who can change the beef industries current operations is the public. If the public demands that beef be raised grass fed on smaller farms and fed natural grasses grown without fertilizers and pesticides, then maybe it is possible for a change in the near future. The main focus of the EPA’s greenhouse regulations is on fossil fuel power plants.
