Will Climategate affect the outcome at Copenhagen?

The issue with scientists attempting to “hide the decline” as it is worded in the Climategate scandal is not false data but a less-than-honest interpretation of the data. Using different types of statistical analysis could result in different trends. Measuring a temperature decline does not disprove Global Warming. The temperature naturally fluctuates up and down, and while it might be going down right now, the overall trend shows the temperature is increasing. People in the scientific community know that different types of statistical analysis can provide very different interpretations of the same data, so this should not affect Copenhagen at all.
