Once water reaches its boiling point it is safe to drink. Most pathogens will be killed at 165 degrees fahrenheit, however water’s boiling point 212 degrees fahrenheit. The CDC recommends boiling water for 1 minute and 3 minutes at high altitudes, but anything that can harm you will be dead once you boil the water. Yep, all those little germies and pathogens won’t stand a chance.
