Why is the wind hot sometimes?

    Hot winds simply come from hot parts of the earth.  They typically preced low pressure systems, since the mix of hot and cool air causes a drop in air pressure.  In Europe, the hot, easterly wind is called the sirocco.  Click the citation link below for a list of winds and wind names.
