Why is Vitamin C so good for you?

Vitamin C helps your immune system, which is why everyone says to take more Vitamin C when you’re sick. It also helps with cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease and skin wrinkling. Vitamin C is in fruits and veggies, but you may want to take a supplement as well.

Vitamin C helps neutralize free radicals that wreak havoc on your internal systems.  As an antioxidant, it reduces oxidation that works in conjunction with free radicals to break down cells.  Building up your Vitamin C intake strengthens your immunity and combats external factors (pollution especially).
