Why is tropospheric ozone a problem?

    It’s not a problem; its depletion may prove a problem. Like depletion of ozone in the stratosphere, tropospheric ozone depletion may allow greater quantities of harmful ultraviolet rays into our atmosphere, which can screw up DNA and contribute to diseases such as cancer.
