Why is there a dispute over moving oil equipment along a route in Idaho?

There is a dispute because the equipment is big and slow-moving. Some worry about damage to the road and adjacent river corridor, disruptions of travel, and impact on tourism. Others are opposed because they are against oil in general, or development of the Alberta Tar Sands in particular. There are two different equipment moves – one of refinery equipment to Billings, Montana (this is four loads and is in progress now, Feb. 2011), and the other is over 200 loads to the tar sands, which is still in dispute.
