Apple trees do experience a “June drop” which continues into July. It is normal for trees to lose many fruits during the beginning of summer. Since I am not familiar with your own apple tree, I cannot say if losing over 300 fruit is healthy or not. It could be a large June drop, sign of big crops to come, or it could be a sign of bad pollination or the effects of weather conditions earlier in the season.
If you are still concerned about your tree, I recommend calling your local arborist for a consultation.
