Recycling is important because instead of making new materials for making products every time, we can reuse materials that have already been created.  This means that less resources go into making products, and less energy is used in the production of products.  Recycling also reduces the amount of products that go into landfills, and with the size of landfills rapidly growing, this is a very good thing.

Recycling is important because it reduces the amount of garbage in our landfills. Recycling also gives us the opportunity to reuse materials that have already been produced thus reducing the amount of energy being used in production as well as the amount of our natural resounces being taken from the earth to create those materials. without recycling we are facing a future of no trees, no clean air , no usable water…..esentially, no earth and with no earth there is no life and that includes us.
