Why is the pacific north west so green?

It is because of the weather patterns there. The weather is relatively wet most of the year, ranging from drizzles to heavy rain. This kind of weather ensures adequate water for growing plants, and makes the environment very lush and very green. Thus, although it does rain a lot, it makes the environment so green and beautiful!
