Why is microfinance beneficial for developing countries?

Mainly because microfinance is good for countries that do not have access to bank funding (i.e., have no surplus to fall back on, and/or do not have good standing credit with any other countries) and typically use systems of self-employment (Possibly, civil servants who are balancing government volunteering with their normal job).  The microfinance system has to deal specifically with low-income status (whether it’s a business or a country’s economy).
