Tasting blood or iron after strenuous exercise is commonly reported. It is most often caused by blood being forced through membranous tissue in the lungs and up into the bronchial tree. As long as you don’t actually cough up any blood, this isn’t a problem. Less rarely this can also be the result of other conditions such as ashtma, sinus problems and very dry air.
