Many crops can only live within certain temperature ranges, so warm weather is not uniformly better for all crops. In addition, climate change has caused changes in weather patterns, causing many places to receive less rainfall so that crops are having a harder time growing. (Some places are having the opposite problem — too much rainfall causes flooding and damages crops.) Climate change is also contributing to the desertification of many regions.
