Fisker’s cars have been examples of great ingenuity. The Fisker Karma, for example, is a 403 horsepower automobile that gets 100 mpg for commuters who charge overnight and drive less than 50 miles per day. The Karma also “burns no fuel for the first 50 miles” per charge, and after is uses up its 50 miles of electric energy, it runs as a hybrid car.
What I find really neat about Fisker’s Karma is the option to purchase the Karma with a solar panel roof. The energy collected from the panels then run climate control within the vehicle.
Fisker’s innovation lies in its combining of many alternative energy technologies to create great energy-efficient cars.
