Why doesn’t blockbuster have an environmental section?

Indeed, “environmental” simply isn’t a widely-accepted or very large genre of film. If anything, most environmental films can be filed as “documentaries”, and that’s where you should probably look for them. As noted in other answers, Blockbuster is focused on popular films, and their selection of documentaries will be limited. Documentaries are, as a whole, not very popular to the public. I’m not sure an “environmental” section is especially useful from any general-purpose film organization system, as it’s such a small sub-genre usually nested within the larger category of “documentary”. What qualifies a film as “environmental” anyway — any content having to do with nature? You imagined how it quickly becomes rather difficult to define a specific “environmental” genre.
