Why does this story ignore illegal logging in Madagascar?

This story completely ignores a major part of this story — that Gibson was knowingly sourcing illegally logged rainforest timber from Madagascar. Loggers are raping rainforest parks in Madagascar, killing lemurs and other endangered wildlife. Gibson nevertheless was sourcing from them. That’s why it was raided in 2009. What is the author’s agenda here? Defending Gibson and the Rainforest Alliance (which received donations from Gibson despite also serving as its supposedly independent auditor)?
