Instead of representing the amount of battery charge with a percentage indicator, Nissan opted to go with a 12- bar graphical display. It’s strange and counter-intuitive, but it seems to be Nissan’s attempt at being unique from other EVs.
It’s a strange idea and people not only don’t understand it but they don’t seem to like it either. A numerical percentage indicator would be much easier to look at. If they were going for a bar, 10-bar would have made more sense than a 12-bar because because understand base 10 better and it’s easier to self-calculate when there’s 10 bars.
