Well first we should define regular. Regular means that it’s the right consistency. If you don’t have enough fiber, it gets watery. No one likes that. The reason fiber makes it more solid is because it doesn’t get digested all the way. It’s kinda like adding straw to mud. If you have enough straw, you can make a brick. Without straw, you will have nothing but watery dirt. Fiber is also important cause it will “grab” onto fat and cholesterol and take it with it. Meaning you will expel the fat and cholesterol instead of keeping it in your body. That’s why a high fiber diet is good for you if you are trying to lose weight. Fiber will also help you feel full, so it can keep you from over eating.
