Why does condensation build up on the outside of glasses with ice water in them?

    That’s because water vapor in the air turns into liquid form when it comes in contact with the cold glass. In the atmosphere, clouds form when the vapor hits cold air. The attached site is a kid’s site that breaks down the water cycle.
