A people of tradition, the Chinese consume a wide variety of foods as well as use many different things in their medicine; unfortunatly, many endangered or exotic animal species make their way into these different trades in China as a result of the fascination with these animals. For example, a tiger’s bone is thought to cure joint ailments and ease pain. Also, because China is such a large country, illegal animal trades tend to slip through the cracks easily. China also tends to seek an easy profit with things such as fur farms.
