Why does the chamber of commerce need to spend so much money lobbying?

    The U.S.Chamber of commerce represents over 3 million business, ranging from small to large, which means that they have a very diverse portfolio of interests to “defend” in congress from legislation, a goal to which they employ their large lobbying community.
