Why do your muscles need protein?

    Protein is very important to the human body.  Muscles are made of protein, therefore without protein, you cannot gain muscle mass.  No matter how much you exercise and train your muscles, without protein it wont achieve much.  Protein also reduces muscle damage.  You can find protein in meat as well as eggs, dairy, nuts, beans, seeds, and soy.
