I am going to assume that the question is why we pollute land. If this is wrong, please disregard this answer. I would say that we pollute our land because for so many years, we thought these resources were infinite. It hasn’t been until recently that we have been seeing the limits to these resources, including land. Most of the pollution is caused by the way that our world has been created. The industrial era has caused and continues to cause pollution every day. When these factories were built, the concept of sustainability and finite resources were nonexistent. This is a very complicated question and can be answered by so many different aspects. Hopefully this helps.
