Why do we need to reduce our carbon footprints?

  1. 0 Votes

The release of carbon dioxide emissions is the most common and one of the main contributors to global warming. Absorption of large quantities of CO2 can be dangerous to the environment and human health. It would cause warming of the earth, polar ice caps melting, causing sea levels to rise and flood low-elevation countries. Ways to reduce your carbon footprint is: drive and fly less, buy local produce, eat less meat, turn down the thermostat, and unplug any device not in use.
