Some of the leaves on my orange tree have turned silver overnight from previously being dark green the day before.
Your orange tree could be infected with citrus thrips, pests that are only 1/20th of an inch long. The damage could escalate during dry periods, too. You can control thrips by keeping your tree healthy with proper watering and fertilizing. You can also spray your tree with nontoxic insecticide, such as narrow range oil.
