Most cats throw up for harmless reasons. Eating too fast, eating grass or, hairballs are all reasons why they can throw up. If your cat seems sick as well as throwing up then it can be something much more serious.
Cleaning up cat vomit is a pain, especially if you accidentally get it on your pants. Most people use the strongest industrial carpet cleaner they can find. Those carpet cleaners are terrible for the environment and your health. It’s better to use soap and water or any one of the several ‘green’ carpet cleaners available.
Cats should not vomit after eating. If this is somthing that happens frequently, it could be a number of things. Type of food can be a problem. I recommend you consult your veterinarian.
