This is very arguable. Some “non-green” schools may perform very well. That said, it could have something to do with funding. Converting a school to a “green-school” costs money, atleast initially. Some of these schools may have more funding for their educational programs as well.
I agree with you about funding it is important for schools to be well funded to help encourage learning with better materials and supplies.
