I’m unsure whether you mean that the environment is 70-80 degrees, or that the inside of the generator is 70-80 degrees. Either way, the answer is the same — fresh water generators evaporate water by using heat, and often by decreasing atmospheric pressure. Boiling occurs when vapor pressure exceeds atmospheric pressure, so increasing the former or decreasing the later both lead to boiling.
