Going green is a major trend and focus right now all over the world and especially in the United States. So much so that people are trying to change their habits and transition to becoming more green in their lifestyle, and that includes the products and services that they buy. In this climate, a company that produces or serves a green product can have a competitive edge over those who don’t. For this reasons, companies may portray themselves as being green or having a green product to reclaim some of the market share and ultimately, more of the profit.
