Why do clouds seem to get bigger as the day goes on?

This depends on the climate of where you live. Clouds are made up of condensed water moisture and ice crystals and formed when air starts to cool due to coming in contact with a colder surface or radiation. The clouds likely seem bigger because the weather temperature is colder than it was earlier in the day.
