Why do cats get hair balls but dogs don’t?

    Unlike cats, dogs are not has particular about cleaning themselves. Cats groom excessively and have a naturally barbed tongue that grabs shedding hair. Because dogs don’t care to groom as much, they don’t develop hairballs.
