Why do asian cultures have more fish in their diet than we do?

Its geographical placement.  They are all on large bodies of water. Just look at all the east Asian nations.  They all sit on the ocean, and most of them are islands or Peninsulas.  Fish was the natural food source because it was so abundant around them.   Now, fish has been in their dietary culture for so long, it just remains a staple.

Check out the movie THE COVE.  You will see (to some degree) how much they use fish in their diet
